Our beaches on Lake Garda
Fornella Campsite enjoys a privileged position directly on Lake Garda and overlooks private pebble beaches set within an unspoilt natural environment. It is the ideal place for guests seeking relaxation, tranquillity and exclusivity, far from crowded public beaches.
Our beaches are deliberately not equipped, in order to preserve the natural surroundings and offer a more authentic experience in close contact with nature. The absence of artificial structures allows guests to fully enjoy the landscape, the crystal-clear water and the peaceful atmosphere typical of the most secluded areas of the lake.
Access to the beaches is reserved exclusively for guests of the property, ensuring privacy and an intimate setting, perfect for those looking for a relaxing and genuine holiday on Lake Garda.
The main beach: natural comfort and easy access
The main beach, south-facing and located close to the restaurant, is ideal for guests who wish to relax directly on Lake Garda without giving up comfort.
With its pebble shoreline and clear waters, it also features a pleasant grassy area, perfect for sunbathing or enjoying peaceful moments with a lake view.
The beach is enhanced by a private pier, a distinctive feature that allows easy access to the lake for swimming or simply to admire Lake Garda from a privileged viewpoint.
The beach can be reached via a very gentle slope with minimal gradient, making it easily accessible for all guests.
The dog-friendly beach: freedom and stunning views for your four-legged friends
The dog-friendly beach, facing south-east, is particularly enjoyable in the morning hours and offers a beautiful view of the Isola del Garda.
Made entirely of pebbles, it allows your four-legged companions to experience Lake Garda freely and safely.
The dog beach has two dedicated access points:
- a direct and convenient access from the lakefront pitches;
- a second access located at the end of the area with private bathroom pitches, next to the washing facilities.
This second entrance is controlled via an electronic chip, available at reception with a refundable deposit, and is accessible from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. For safety reasons, access is closed outside these hours.
The dog-friendly beaches are reached via stairs, ensuring a quieter and more natural setting.
A natural environment that follows the rhythm of the lake
As these are natural beaches, their size and accessibility may vary slightly throughout the year, depending on the water level of Lake Garda.
In summer, the lake level tends to recede, while in spring and autumn, after heavy rainfall, the beach may temporarily become smaller or not always accessible.
These natural changes are part of the charm of an authentic and unspoilt environment.
